Bellzone has a vision of developing a commercially viable iron ore production facility in Guinea, West Africa and is committed to bring the facilities online in a short a time frame as possible.
The implementation strategy that has been developed by Bellzone is focused on bringing the mine, rail and port facilities into sustainable operation as fast as possible. This has resulted in a strategy that relies on parallel activities, early long lead equipment procurement and experienced, professional decision making and risk mitigation. Previous studies and work completed for infrastructure development in Guinea will form the basis of the infrastructure design options, resulting in faster solution finalization and as such a faster project implementation schedule.
A crucial part of the implementation strategy is conducting the social and environmental impact studies prior to solution finalization. As such the critical path of the project is dictated by;
By adopting a multi-focused, multi-disciplinary approach it is envisaged that many of these activities can be conducted in parallel and as such optimize the resources and maintain a fast track schedule. This type of strategy will result in the need for a senior management team to monitor and control and ensure the strategies adopted across the various activities and facilities are focused on the final objective
In order to achieve this Bellzone will source and appoint a global team of experienced, professional companies who can add value, have the resources and man power and appetite to conduct such a challenging and exciting project in the timeframes envisaged.
As part of the simplification and optimization of the project development and implementation, Bellzone intends to split the infrastructure component, including rail, port and power, from the mining and processing operation. This will facilitate the multi-user philosophy Bellzone is committed too, as well as allowing separate financing and investment opportunities to be implemented for the infrastructure and the mine. The development of both these vital components of the project, remain Bellzone’s primary focus.
