Bellzone Mining Ltd. is an Australian based mining company, which is developing the Kalia Iron Project, which is located in south central Guinee, West Africa, approximately 320km east of the capital, Conakry.

During the period of 2006 to 2008, Bellzone has completed A$20 million detailed geological investigation, site  and project development program, which included;

• Constructing a 50 man exploration camp
• Developing 50km of site access roads
• Surface prospecting and assay sampling
• Topographical and geological mapping
• Ground magnetic surveys and interpretation
• Satellite imagery and interpretation
• Exploration drilling and core analysis
• General Feasibility Study

29km² of Iron Mineralization has been identified and mapped. The mineralisation is characterised by a layer of up to 60m of oxidsed iron material at surface, which covers BIF formations, which could reach depths of over 2000m.
